    The issue of femicide has been a serious problem in Mexico for a long time. This issue has since then become a serious concern for UN Women to solve. This research aims to understand the role of UN Women in overcoming femicide in Mexico in 2014-2020. This study uses descriptive research and collects data by applying library research. The data analysis technique used is qualitative where the researcher explains the data based on the facts that have been collected. Based on the analysis conducted, UN Women is known to have started various assistance programs for the women’s community in Mexico as a manifestation of its resolution to deal with the problem of Femicide since 2014. Through these various programs, UN Women has shown its solid position as an international organization that acts as an instrument through the Consular protocol program. development for Mexico Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Center of Excellence on Gender Statistics (CEGS). In addition, organizing various forums, research and conference activities such as the XVI International Meeting on Gender Statistics, Media Conference for Gender Equalit, Conference on Gender Equality and Measurement of Unpaid Care and Domestic Work, as well as The Generation Equality Forum have placed UN Women as an arena. Meanwhile, UN Women’s role as an independent actor is also realized through the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women program and the holding of Spotlight intiatitive. In the end, even though UN Women has initiated quite a number of programs aimed at handling and preventing femicide in Mexico, statistics show the number of incidents and victims of femicide continues to increase. This means that the presence of UN Women in Mexico has not played a significant role in reducing Femicide in Mexico.
