Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to analyze and describe the interests of Indonesian Government had on international economic, in this case that of action figures imported from overseas. based from the points of policies made by the government that manages on international economics that consisted of International trading, managing export and import also as being a member of the World Trade Organization. The research method used is descriptive with secondary data types. The analysis technique used is qualitative. The concepts used are Protectionism.

  The results of this study shows that the interests of Indonesian Government had on the making of its international trade policies are that of economic interests, whereas for the policies are made on the notion that of to improve the countries income as well as put forward the competitive edge of the products from Indonesian companies. Aside from that, the government also promotes the citizen to decrease the usages of import products.

  From the government itself, the policies made from its interests are reflected from the 3 main interests which was discussed in this research. The interests are the Economic Interests, Competitive Interests and the Protection Interests.
