Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to provide an explanation for the implementation of forest conservation cooperation between Indonesia and Norway within the framework of REDD+ to reduce the impact of climate change. The author uses descriptive research method, which describes a phenomenon based on the facts that occurred. In this case the cooperation process and implementation of forest conservation in Indonesia – Norway REDD+ framework to mitigate the effects of climate change. This cooperation begins with the signing of the LoI between Indonesia and Norway on May 26, 2010, in Oslo Norway. Furthermore, the Indonesian government follow up this cooperation with issuing regulations and policy work program in accordance with the Letter of Intent has been agreed by the two countries. Further in this research, the writer used descriptive research, which describes a phenomenon based on the facts that occurred. In this case the cooperation process and implementation of forest conservation in Indonesia –Norway REDD+ framework to mitigate the effects of climate change.
