- 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to determine the reason why Dominica, St. Vincent and The Gradines and Antigua and Barbuda did not join the Sucre currency union. The type of research used is descriptive, namely research that seeks to clearly explain and analyze the reasons why Dominica, St. Vincent and The Gradines and Antigua and Barbuda did not join the Sucre currency union. The data presented in this study are secondary data obtained through literature review and various literatures such as books, journals, magazines and the internet. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis techniques, namely the author analyzes secondary data which then uses theories and concepts that can be used. The results of this study indicate that the reasons for Dominica, St. Vincent and The Gradines and Antigua and Barbuda for not joining the Sucre currency union are in the form of the low economic rate of Dominica, St. Vincent and The Gradines and Antigua and Barbuda and the monetary policy regulated in the Bank. Central East Caribbean.
