  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : Since 1935 tea has been exported from Indonesia and known as a premium tea with the highest catechin content of natural antioxidants of the world. However, in 2015 after the European Union issued a policy related to Maximum Residue Level (MRL) for anthraquinone residue in tea 0,02 mg/kg that reduced the export around 20% in the next years. Indonesia efforts to deal with the policy with some strategies, this research used qualitative narrative as the strategy export and Multi Track Diplomacy as the analysis tools. The result show the internal strategy: National Tea Agribusiness Rescue Movement and external strategies: Tea Promotion, diversification of products and markets, advocacy and diplomacy through Indonesia Tea Trade Mission (ITTM).
