  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to know the impact of loneliness and self-control on tendency of nomophobia on Mulawarman University Student, Samarinda. This research used a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research are 220 Mulawarman University Student. The subjects were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used are loneliness scale, self-control scale, and nomophobia scale. Research data was analyzed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique by AMOS version 22.0 program. The results of this research shows that loneliness with tendency of nomophobia show the value of C.R. is 1.332 ≤ 1.96 and P value is 0.183 > 0.05 which means loneliness has no effect on tendency of nomophobia. Then, self-control with tendency of nomophobia show the value of C.R. is – 7.059 ≥ 1.96 and P value is 0.000 < 0.05 which means self-control has negative effect on tendency of nomophobia.
