• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to know whether there is a relations between crowding and coping stress with the behavior of prisoner’s aggression. The sample used in this research was 90 prisoners of correctional institution class II B Tenggarong. The data of this research were collected by crowding scale, coping stress scale and the scale of prisoner aggression behavior with a model of Likert scale and the data collected were analyzed by regression tests. The results of this research indicate that there is a relation between crowding and coping stress with the behavior of prisoner in correctional institutions with a calculated F value = 8.967 (F arithmetic> F table = 3.10), R2 = 0.171, and p = 0.000 (0.000> 0.05). In addition, the results of the stepwised regression analysis revealed that there was a significant and positive relations between crowding and aggression behavior with a beta value = 0.420, t = 4.117 (t arithmetic> t table = 1.987), and p = 0.000 (p
