• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the description of subjective well-being on middle adult who live single. The type of this research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological method. Data collection method used are the method of observation and interviews. Researchers using purposive sampling technique in determining the subject of research. Data analysis techniques used are by preparing data, reading the entire data, coding data, implementing the coding process to describe the themes to be analyzed, restating descriptions and themes in narratives or qualitative reports, and interpreting or interpreting them. The results obtained showed that the four subjects namely SR, WN, RP, and NN experienced subjective well-being in their lives related to their status as middle adolescents who lived single. The subjective well-being experienced by the four subjects consists of cognitive components and affective components. Factors that influence the subjective well-being of SR, WN, RP and NN subjects include income and wealth, religiosity, demographics, and health.
