  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research is aims to know and described how the people’s judgement about sajen tradition reviewed from perpective availability heuristic theory. Researchers used qualitative research with a fenomenology approach. This study used a purposive sampling technique to determine the subject. Data collection methods in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation data related to the four research subjects. The data analysis technique used was the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. While the validity of the data was to increase perseverance and used reference material. The results of the study showed how availability heuristic influenced on the four subjects. First, the past experience that affected each subjects. This experience come from close people such as parents and personal experience that affected the poin of fiew each subjects. Second, the unconscious priming that formed the concept and trait of each subjects. This can be seen by how the subject feels the influenced of the used the sajen. Third, the availability of information that constituted the subjects knowledge. All three form a different of view that leads to decision making. In general the four subjects used sajen based on imitated by their parents. The learning proses that taken for years since childhood growth such a strong belief. Beside the emotion that appear that subjects belief as the affect by the used of sajen, this also influenced subjects not to leave the sajen tradition.
