• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to explain China’s efforts to meet the needs of domestic nickel post policy of mineral and coal law number 04 in Indonesia. The type of research is descriptive predictive, tehnicque of data analyze is qualitative and use secondary data sourced from internet and library research. To explain China’s effort to meet the needs of domestic nickel post minerba policy number 04 in Indonesia, the author use international trading concept in absolute advantage theory. The results of this study indicated, after the Indonesian government issued a policy of mineral and coal law in 2009, influenced China losing supply of nickel from Indonesia, meanwhile China is a stainless steel producing country. Constituted by those condition, China is making efforts to continue acquired nickel supplies from Indonesia by investing building smelter in Indonesia. As the result of this research, China has succeded in its efforts by investing in Smelter to meet the country’s nickel needs.
