• 4. Description [Abstrak] : his study aims to find out how the description of subjective well-being and marital satisfaction in married couples who do not have children due to infertility.. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Respondents of this study were taken by purposive sampling with data collection methods using observation and in-depth interviews with the three married couples. In this research the number of subjects was 3 pairs of husband and wife, the subjects are MR-FR, WK-NG, YA-MDU. As for the characteristics in this research, is: couples who have been married for 10 years and married couples aged 40-50 years. The results of this research showed there are many things that affect marital satisfaction in addition to having offspring such as mutual attention, mutual trust, open to each other. The three couples can prove that even though they do not have children, they are able to defend their marriage and keep their marriage from divorce. Two of the three married couples were satisfied with their marriage life. Meanwhile, one in three married couples feel dissatisfied with their marriage life.
