• 4. Description [Abstrak] : The Syrian conflict that occurred since 2011 caused various kindsof impact for several countries involved in the conflict, two of which were Russia and Turkey. The purpose of this study is to explain the impact caused by the Syrian conflict on relations between Russia and Turkey. The type of research used is descriptive, this study uses conflict theory to explain the impact arising from the Syrian conflict on Russian and Turkish Relations. The result of this study indicate that relations between Russia and Turkey since the conflict in Syria experienced fluctuating conditions. The ups and downs of relations between Russia and Turkye occur when the two countries have different views in addressing the conflict in Syria. As a result of these different views, Russian and Turkey’s relations worsened until an economic embargo was carried out by Russia for Turkey. Some sectors that are the target of the embargoinclude the Economy, Tourism, Construction and Energy sectors.
