• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims were to obtain a descriptive and factors that influence the resilience and post-traumatic growth accident victims in Samarinda. This research type is a type of qualitative research with a case study method. The data collecting methods used were interviews and observations, as well as determining respondents through screening subjects using the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5, Connor-Davidson Reselience Instrument Scale, and Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory. The data analysis techniques that were used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The subjects in the study amounted to three people, besides the main subjects involved there were also three informants. The results showed the resilience and post-traumatic growth in victims of traffic accidents in Samarinda, where all three subjects are able to growth from adversity and experience positive development after the event. This happened because (1) the amount of support received from significant other able to change negative perceptions into positive thoughts; (2) having confidence and belief in one’s own abilities, be proud of what is owned and achieved; (3) have the ability to build relationships with good people, and (4) trust in God makes the three subjects more calm in facing the problem or pressure.
