Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the relation of training effectiveness with work readiness on prospective workers who have attended apprenticeship training from the Disnakertrans Samarinda. This study uses quantitative research methods. The research subjects were prospective workers who had attended apprenticeship training from the Disnakertrans Samarinda with a sample of 50 people. Data collection methods used are work readiness scale and training effectiveness scale. The collected data were analyzed by product moment and partial tests with the help of the Statistical Package for Special Sciences (SPSS) 23.0 for Windows program. The result of this research has 95% confidence level that showed there was a no relations of training effectiveness with the work readiness where r table= 0.279 and r arithmetic = 0.260 (r table > r arithmetic) and p =0.068 (p > 0.05).
