Description [Abstrak] : The study aims to determine the relationship of pedagogic competency of Social teacher and climate class with learning motivation at the students of grade VIII Junior High School 40 Samarinda. This study used quantitative research methods. The subject of this research is the students og grade VIII Junior High School 40 Samarinda with a total sample of 86 students analyzed using simple random sampling techniques. Methods of data collection techniques used is learning motivation scale,pedagogic competency of Social teacher and climate class. Data were analyzed using multiple regression test and simple regression test with the help of program Statistical Package for Special Sciences (SPSS) 21.0 for Windows.
