Description [Abstrak] : This study aimed to know the impact of adversitas intelligence and support of elderly people towards completing a thesis on motivation students working in FISIPOL Mulawarman University. This research uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this research is the 100 students are selected using the technique of cluster sampling. Data collection method used is the motivation scale completed theses, adversitas, intelligence and social support. Research data was analyzed by multiple linear regression by the program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 for Windows. Research results with level of confidence 95% showed that: (1) there is positive and significant influence adversitas intelligence against motivation completed thesis by beta coefficient (β) = 0.139, t value > t table (1.907 > 1.661) and p value = 0.030 (p t table (9.286 > 1.661) and p value = 0.030 (p f table (57.696 > 2.36) and p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Contributions impact adversitas intelleigence and social support of the elderly against motivation completed theses to 0.543 (54.3 percent).
