Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the effect of self-esteem and lifestyle on consumer behavior on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University, Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this study was 98 students who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data collection methods used are the scale of consumer behavior, self-esteem and lifestyle. The collected data were analyzed by multiple linear regression test with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 21.0 for Windows program. The results showed that: (1) there was no significant influence and self-esteem on consumptive behavior as evidenced by the beta coefficient (β) of -0.067, and the t value of -0.549 was smaller than t table of 1.985 and p value of 0.585 (p > 0.005).
