• 4. Description [Abstrak] : his study aims to determine the effect of family support and job motivation on promotion positions. This research consist of three variables, dependent variabel that is promotion of positionand independent variable of family support and work motivation. This research uses probability sample design using purposive sampel determination methode. Sample in this research in contract employee counted 60 people. Analisis technique used is multiple regression tests. The results of this study using a full model regression analysis showed there is g significant influence between family support and job motivation to promotion position amounted to Fcount = 20.561> Ftable = 3.24, R2 = 0.419, dan p = 0.000 0.050. Motivation work on promotion positions there is a positive influence with the value of Beta = 0.584, tcount = 5.594, ttable = 2.002, and p = 0.000 < 0.050.
