• 4. Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of this research is to explain the national interest and the common interest of Indonesia and Malaysia in the formation of CPOPC. The analysis uses the concept of the National Interest of Donald E. Neuchterlin and the concept of Common Interest supported by using descriptive research type. Secondary data namely techniques literature review is used by the author based on the book and the internet media through some valid websites. The importance of CPOPC by Indonesia and Malaysia is to achieve the economic interests and mutual interests of Indonesia and Malaysia. Through this research, Indonesia and Malaysia have economic interests related to CPO regulations and overcome CPO negative campaigns. To achieve the economic and mutual interests of Indonesia and Malaysia to make efforts such as establishing the Palm Oil Economic Zone program (POGEZ), establishing global CPO certification standards by harmonizing ISPO and MSPO standards, and socializing Sustainable Palm Oil to the EU.
