Description [Abstrak] : Research on the hardiness of employees experiencing termination of employment aims to know and see how a person who has PHK can change point of view of the problems encountered. So it can generate a sense of spirit, attitude not despair and able to become a formidable individual in the face of problems. Researchers use qualitative research methods with case study approach. In addition, this study also uses snowball techniques and observations, interviews, and scale of hardiness according yo Kobassa. In this study there are three subjects who are employees who have risen from the problems encountered. The results showed that in the three subjects in this study used to ever occupy positions or different positions. Differences in positions that have had the subject make them feel the same disappointment. The termination of employment experienced by these three subjects causes a change in their nature and point of view to a problem. Nevertheless their commitment to rise from problems to meet the needs of families, especially for the subject of RT and NN who is the head of the family still has the responsibility to finance the children, it becomes a challenge in their lives. By seeing the opportunity to re-emerge from the problem of making sure the subject is able to get through the situation faced, family support also makes them a strong person or someone has hardiness, which is able to change the way negative stress becomes a positive challenge.
