- 4. Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of this study was to find out the reasons for appropriation executive order sanction against Venezuelas officials under Maduro regime by US. The analysis was used the theory of decision making. Supported by use explanative research type. The type of data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques used by the author based on the book and the internet media through some valid websites. The results of this research presented that the reason for appropriation executive order sanction against Venezuelas officials under Maduro regime by US was US efforts to be viewed internationally such as proctecting democracy and human rights in Venezuela. Sanctions are also caused by several other factors and to weaken the Maduro government. Those factors are internal factors the value of US democracy and US company, external factors are inter-american democratic charter, societies organized and functioning (CANVAS), as well as major characteristics of social organizations factor (USAID and NED).
