• 4. Description [Abstrak] : The conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran began when the Shia scholars from Iran were executed by the Saudi Arabian government. The purpose of this study is to seek pre-mediation Indonesia in the establishment of the conflict of Saudi Arabia and Iran. This problem is analyzed using the concept of conflict, mediation and national interest for Indonesia’s pre-mediation against the conflicts of Saudi Arabia and Iran.This responded to the Iranian community and there was an attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran. With the attack finally, Saudi Arabia cut off diplomatic relations with Iran. Indonesia as a partner of the two countries has offered to help the settlement of peace. Indonesia’s involvement in assisting the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran is supported by domestic organizations and Indonesia also has a national interest in both countries.
