  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of conformity and learning motivation on truancy behavior to play online games on students in Samarinda. The data were collected by questionnaire method and analyzed by using final model regression analysis to discover how big the influence prediction of independent variable to dependent variable. The population in this study was all the students who truant in Samarinda. Total of the samples in this study were 100 people. The sample that is used in this study was Consecutive Sampling sample design. Data analysis techniques is using the multiple regression, the result of the analysis show that the conformity and learning motivation to the truancy behavior have a very significant influence with F = 119.599 (F Count > F Table), R2 = 0.711, and p = 0.000 (p < 0.050). Then there is a significant influence between conformity with truancy behavior with beta = 0.203, t = 2.330 and p = 0.022, in the learning with truancy behavior has a very significant influence with beta = 0.675, t = 7.738, and p = 0.000.
