Description [Abstrak] : Learning interet is one of the problem that often occurred in Education World, especially for formal education like school, both from primary school into secondary school which mean that will lead to negative impact for learning achievement and school. Problem of Learning Interest at school showed a lack of interest of leaning during teaching at school.This research aims to determined the relationship of student perception about teaching ability ppl Student with Learning Interest at students of SMK N 17 Samarinda. This research consists of two variable: the dependent variable that is interest and the independent variable that is the perception. The data collected by using questionnaires. The samples in this study was students of class X SMK N 17 Samarinda 150 people in total. Data analysis technique that researcher used is correlations analysis of product moment test. Based on test result on the perception variable of students with learning interest that has been done by using a statistical analysis correlation of product moment shows that relationship between students perception variable on learning interest is p = 0.000. This means the H1 that proposed by the researcher, there is a positive relationship between ppl students teaching ability with student learning interest of SMK N 17 Samarinda with pearson correlation score = 0.869 and P =0.000
