• 4. Description [Abstrak] : The internal conflict in Uganda is due to the seizure of seats between the Uganda government and the rebel group. In a conflict, there must be human rights violations with the most victims being women and children in this case being committed by a rebel group called Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). The human rights violations that took place were kidnapping, rape, and the most serious was the arising of child soldiers phenomenon involving children in armed conflict. An international organization called Friends of Orphans (FRO) founded by former child soldiers in Uganda became the place of former child soldiers to develop themselves and forget the past. The success of FRO in rehabilitating child soldiers and victims of the conflict because of all staff members consisting of former child soldiers. With the existence of background experience equations it will be easier for the children to rise up and start a new life. The research results show that Friends of Orphans (FRO) is performing the role of an international organization in reintegration and rehabilitation of former child soldiers in Uganda through education, health, peace building and income-generating programs by working with local communities and international organizations to achieve The success of reintegration of former child soldiers back into the community
