• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research were made to find out how the German government’s efforts in handling refugees from Syria in 2015-2016. Syria suffered a humanitarian crisis since 2011 which was the result of the intergovernmental civil war Bashar al-assad with the public. This has caused many people to flee to other countries for help and security. By 2015 when the EU states expressed disagreement over the arrival of refugees, chancellor Angela Merkel actually made an open door policy that eventually made Germany in crisis of refugees. Seeing this, the government made various efforts to handle it so that Germany is no longer experiencing crisis and refugees still get their rights fully.
