• 4. Description [Abstrak] : Since 1971, poverty has become the main problem for Bangladesh. More than half of their citizens had to lived below the Poverty line ever since 1970s until 1990s. To helped Bangladesh overcome their Poverty Problem, The purpose of this study is to find out how UNDP’s efforts in tackling the poverty problem in Bangladesh. This problem will be analyzed using the theory of poverty and the role of international organizations. UNDP established 3 Major Work Programs to assist Bangladesh’s poverty concerns in 2007, namely Support Sustainable and Inclusive Planning, Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction and also National Social Protection Strategy. In addition to its own three programs, UNDP is also working with other International Organizations, including the Australian Agency for International Development (AUSAID) and the National Adaptation Plan Global Support Program (NAP-GSP)
