• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to find out the correlation between social identity with the religion maturity. The research is conducted to Torajanese people in Kanaan, Bontang City. This research based on two variables which are attached variable that is religion maturity and the free variable which is social identity.
  The decided sample techniques is with using random sampling. The sample in this research is the Torajanese people who stay in Kanaan, Bontang City which could be collected 145 people. The used data analysis techniques is product moment analysis method and partial test.
  The result of this research showed that there is a significant correlation between social identity and the religion maturity with the R=0.412 and p=0.000. Partial test showed that there is correlation between aspects of inter-group perceptions, interrelated believes, depersonalization as in the variable aspects of social identity with the aspect of capability to differentiate in the variable of religious maturity, there is a correlation between aspects of the in-group appeal and depersonalization in the variable aspects of social identity with the aspect of dynamic character in the variable of religious maturity, there is a correlation between aspects of perception between in-group appeal, interrelated believes and depersonalization in the variable aspects of social identity with the aspect of moral consistency in the variable of religious maturity, there is a correlation between aspects of the in-group appeal and depersonalization in the variable social identity with the aspect of comprehensive aspects in dealing with problems in the variable religious maturity, there is a correlation between aspects of inter-group perceptions, in-group appeal and depersonalization in the variable of social identity with the aspect of integral aspect of looking at the problem in the variable of religious maturity and the last, there is correlation between aspects of inter-group perceptions, in-group appeal and depersonalization in the variable of social identity with aspect of heuristic for looking at and facing a problem of religious life in the variable religious maturity.
