Description [Abstrak] : Diplomatic relations between Canada and Iran is a mechanism that made Canada and Iran agree on how to interact with each establishing diplomatic missions and sending diplomatic representatives. Diplomatic relations were established between the two countries since 1955, in practice, full of dynamics in each period. It is closely related to difference in perspective between the two countries, which then create the atmosphere of diplomatic relations deteriorated then hostile. By applying diplomatic relations concept, this research will discuss in more detail how diplomatic relations between Canada and Iran during the reign of Mohammad Khatami-Paul Martin and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad-Stephen Harper.
