Description [Abstrak] : The condition of Indonesian current military when compared with other countries still lagging because of Indonesia defense system from land, sea and air still has the limitation, in this case some of the important parts to be repaired by the Government such as military equipment which is not worthy to wear that owned Indonesian defence budget needs to be increased, as well as all other attempts to defend the sovereignty of the country. Indonesian in cooperation with Germany because of Germany military strength look better or more modern than Indonesian. Cooperation in the field of Defense by Indonesia and Germany provide advantages for both countries to further strengthen military cooperation relations and become an important part in strengthening the security of Indonesian and Germany at this time because over time certainly has challenges and threats come from both within the country and abroad. The results showed that of the defense cooperation Indonesian and Germany there are three types of partnership are implemented such as training, research and development and procurement of military logistics.
