Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the relationship of internal locus of control and support of parents of secondary school students’ job readiness vocational (SMK) in SMK Negeri 1 Tenggarong. The study consists of three variables: the dependent variable job readiness and independent variables that internal locus of control and support of parents .
    Sampling technique by using Simple Random Samplin . The sample in this study were students of SMK Negeri 1 Tenggarong class XII as many as 171 people. Data analysis technique used is the analysis method Kendall ‘s tau nonparametric test .
    These results indicate that there is a correlation is very low and significant correlation between internal locus of control and job readiness with value Correlation Coefficient = 0112 , p = 0.035 , and there is no correlation and nirsignifikan between parental support and readiness work with value Correlation Coefficient = 0.049 and p = 0365.
