• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity and interest in learning the behavior of cheating in class X SMA Negeri 3 Bontang. The method used is quantitative method. Subjects in this study a number of 78 students. Methods of data collection using three scales namely the scale of conformity peers, learning and behavioral cheat with Likert scale model. The data were analyzed with regression models and models gradually filled with the help of the program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 20.0 for windows.
  The results of this study indicate that there are between conformity and peer influence and interest in learning the behavior of cheating grade X SMAN 3 Bontang with F count > F table = 12.785 > 3.0718, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) and R2 = 0.369 , The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that there is influence between peer conformity to the behavior of cheating grade X SMAN 3 Bontang in beta = 0.176, t = 1.112 (t F table = 3.0718) R2 = 0.369 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05)
