Description [Abstrak] : National security is the most important thing that state has to keep, and it can not be separated from state apparatus who participated to create the national security, one of the participant is Indonesian National Police (INP), INP has a responsibillity to keep the peacefulness especially public safety, and to realize all of that it takes a good relations between police and the society, but the fact is there is an estrangement between them, and it is based on the bad relations between society and police, people thought that police is an authoritarian instrument, rigid, and acted arbitrary while they were in duty, so they insist to make a deal with police. The Indonesia goverments’s effort to establish the community policing 2006-2015 is to fix the relations between society and cops, wherein with the better of their relationsip then the society will understand about how important to keep the peacefulness of their country is, as a result the number of criminal will be decreases.
