  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : Kenya is one of the African countries that have serious problems with human trafficking. The purpose of this article describes the Kenyan government’s efforts to deal with human trafficking from 2007 to 2011. This study was a descriptive study using primary and secondary data obtained from the research literature. The problem is analyzed against the concept of human trafficking and human trafficking. The results showed that the efforts of the Kenyan government effort involves two steps. First, internally steps to implement regulatory prosecution, protection and prevention in fit in UndangAnti Trafficking Law No. 5 2007. Both externally step by cooperating with international institutions such as the International Organization of Migration (IOM). Finally the response to trafficking in women and children is significant and is driven by some Kenyan officials and community organizations to combat the practice of Human Trafficking, as well as the cooperation of law enforcement officials at the local level.
