• 4. Description [Abstrak] : Culture is the identity of a nation that must be preserved and conserved. Erau is a part of indonesian culture, especially original culture from Kutai Kartanegara, then the goverment tried to keep preserve and promote the Kartanegara culture of Erau to national and internasional communities. This research is describing about the internationalization of culture Erau of kutai kartanegara. This research using descriptive type of research to describ about the internationalized strategy of Kutai Kartanegara Regency to introducing Erau culture to the world. The research has using primary and secondary data. The results from this study indicated that the internationalization efforts has been conducted by Kutai Kertanegara Government to promote the Erau Culture to the world so far has been good. It can be seen by the increasing number of visitors of foreign tourists which come every year and numbers of countries that participated in the activities (Erau International Folk Arts and Festival) EIFAF increased and the obstacles in the promotion of Erau is the infrastructures and transport
