• 4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to identify and describe the effectiveness of cooperation between Indonesia – USAID in addressing poverty to achieve the MDGs by 2015. This type of research used in this research is descriptive is to illustrate the effectiveness of cooperation between Indonesia – USAID in addressing poverty to achieve the MDGs. Data collection techniques used include literature reviews or literartur study using data from the books, documents and data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the formulation of the problem, this study describes the effectiveness saw Indonesia’s cooperation with USAID in addressing poverty to achieve the MDGs by 2015, seen through cooperation programs were implemented. In addressing the problem of poverty in Indonesia, USAID put out SEADI program in 2010 that will work directly with the Indonesian government agencies namely TNP2K and BAPPENAS. The results showed that Indonesia -USAID cooperation in addressing poverty in Indonesia is quite effective with the success of the various programs SEADI in assisting government agencies in addressing poverty. Proven by decreasing the amount of poverty in Indonesia and is expected to reach the target MDGs1 2015.
