• 4. Description [Abstrak] : Indonesia is one of the many countries that send workers. Of the many countries of destination, the most desired state of Indonesian workers is Saudi Arabia. A large number of workers employed in Saudi Arabia, the many problems faced by the workers there. However, between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia there is no agreement with MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) on the protection of migrant workers, thus making `organizations, such as the Migrant Care and member of Commission IX of the House of Representatives urged the Indonesian government to implement a moratorium on migrant workers. Through various processes, then on August 1, 2011 the Indonesian government imposed a moratorium on sending workers to Saudi Arabia.

  The implementation of the moratorium workers to Saudi Arabia by the Indonesian government is not only positive and negative impact for Indonesia but also for Saudi Arabia. The impact of the moratorium for Indonesia is the reduced number of foreign workers who worked in Saudi Arabia, but in the case of Indonesia benefited humanity, namely the reduction of the problems experienced by migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. While the impact of the moratorium for Saudi Arabia is unrest for service users workers who have to do their own housework, although in terms of the government and law enforcement officials there was benefited by reducing their burden in tackling the problems of migrant workers in their countries.
