Description [Abstrak] : The relationship between India and Pakistan is an interesting relationship between two countries to study, because even though they have a history of war in the past and racial and religious sentiments that also add to the series of conflict between the two, India and Pakistan also still need each other in terms of their respective economies and politic, respectively. This research aims to analyze how the relationship between India and Pakistan after the 2019 Balakot Airstrike. The research method used is descriptive with secondary data types. The analysis technique used is qualitative. The theory and concept used are neo-realism theory and the concept of diplomatic relations. The results of this study is that the relations between India and Pakistan has become worse after the 2019 Balakot Airstrike. This is marked by the various impacts on the economic and political relations felt by the two countries, such as the closing of airspace, the suspension of postal services, the increase in India’s defense, and the occurrence of Persona Non Grata. So this is in accordance with neorealism theory, that the anarchist nature of the international system is true, shown by the mutual attacks between India and Pakistan which emphasize that there is no legitimate power in diplomatic relations between countries.
