• 4. Description [Abstrak] : The aim of this research was to empirically examine the effect of student’s perfectionism and parenting on learning achievement of student in SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda. The research applied quatitaive approach. The research subject was students in SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda which have tendency of perfectionism as many as 81 people. This research used purposive sampling. Measuring instruments in this study used the student’s report grades, student’s perfectionism scale, and parenting scale. The Scales arranged by likert model scale and examined using doubled regression analysis. The result of this research showed that there was an effect of student perfectionism and parenting parents on learning achievement of student in SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda, with a significant value (p) of 0.000 and an F count of 25.922 with a large influence of 39.9%. in the student perfectionism on learning achievement of student in SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda is an influence with the value of the beta coefficient (β) 0.653, and the value of t count 6.653, t table 1.984 and (p) 0.000. In parenting parents on learning achievement of student in SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda there was no influence with the value of the beta coefficient (β) 0.050 and the value of t count 0.508, t table 1.984 and (p) 0.613.
