Description [Abstrak] : This research was motivated by the potential of Indonesia as a natural disaster-prone areas, the Indonesian government deems it necessary in cooperation with IOM in dealing with tsunami victims in Aceh. This research aim was to determine the effort of IOM (International Organization of Migration) and the government of Indonesia in recovery of post-tsunami Aceh. This research was descriptive analytic study, which gives an overview and explains the efforts of IOM and the Indonesian government in dealing with the recovery of post-tsunami Aceh. And analysis techniques used in this study was illustrative method, data analysis method by using basic theory application/conceptual with the concrete situation. The results of this research showed that in the post-tsunami recovery, IOM was working with the Indonesian government covering a program of housing construction, revitalization of health infrastructure, and projects livelihood support, as well as providing logistical support and transportation for the overall reconstruction effort.
