Description [Abstrak] : Timor Leste became an independent state since May 20 2002, the government of Timor Leste is certainly trying to keep all the territory of both air and sea borders to defend their sovereignty. The Government of Timor Leste bilateral approach to Australian government to discuss the maritime boundary between the two countries so that the national integrity of two countries became apparent with the utilization of natural resources contained therein. Australia as state aid as well as neighboring countries are very advanced in politics, economy, military and become an obstacle in negotiations sea boundary marked by Australian government does not want to discuss maritime borders legally and internationally acceptable. Timor Leste as a sovereign state has the right to its territory, so that all issues can be resolved on the frontier of international law. Timor Leste interest here is wanting an international recognition of the sovereignty of Timor Leste to the land, sea, and air to the utilization of natural resources for the development of the political economy of Timor Leste
