  This study aims to determine (1)the effect of practical work experience to work readiness, (2)the effect of confidence to work readiness, (3)the effect of practical work experience and confidence to work readiness. The population in this study were Vocational High School 15 Samarinda student and sample in this study were students that majoring in automotive who has carried out practical work totaling 82 people, consisting of three classes of 29 people OT1, OT2 25 people, and OT3 28 people. The results of this study were (1)Practical Work Experience take positive and significant effect to Work Readiness of Vocational High School 15 Samarinda Students (2)The confidence had no significant relationship to Work Readiness of Vocational High School 15 Samarinda Students in automotive majors that indicated. (3)Work experience and confidence simultaneously take positive and significant effect to work readiness of vocational high school 15 Samarinda students in automotive.
