Description [Abstrak] : Human trafficking was a phenomenon where humans are trafficked to other countries illegally. 90 percent of human trafficking cases in Canada involve Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The Canadian government has made several efforts to address the problem of human trafficking in Canada. However, these efforts have not been able to reduce the number of human trafficking. In 2012 the Canadian government established The National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking (NAPCHT). This research is using the theories of Implementation of Program and Human Trafficking. The results of this research describe the implementation of The National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking (NAPCHT) using four pilars; prevent, protect, prosecution, and partnership and knowledge. In terms of preventing the increase in human trafficking, the Canadian government carries out educational and knowledge activities on the dangers of human trafficking. In an effort to protect victims, the government invests funds to help victims of human trafficking. In terms of prosecuting the perpetrators of these crimes, the Canadian government strengthens the law and carries out prosecutions against Canadians who commit human trafficking offenses within and outside Canada. Then, the government also made partnerships both inside and outside the Canadian government in fighting this crime.
