4. Description [Abstrak] : The results of this study shows that the use of PMSC in the 2013 Iraqi riots by the United States was for three reasons. The first reason for using PMSC frees the US from responsibility for what personnel in the field do. This act disavowment is a form of the US in maintaining its political image. The next reason is the use of PMSC being the more economical option. The third reason is because of the many forms of objections by the global community to the United States, which at that time could no longer place the country’s armed forces due to the end of the Iraq war in 2011. The presence of PMSC in Iraq on the 2013 Iraqi Insurgency was at first as a presence of power which deters the colliding sides that aims to take over the then-empty Iraqi government. But in the end, the decision to pull back the PMSC inbetween 2013 by The USA instead smoothen the violent act done by the colliding sides which became the catalyst for Iraqi Civil War 2014.<\/strong><\/li>\n
