4. Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of the research was to test empirically the relation of workload with work stress on teachers SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda and teachers of SMP Negeri 8 Samarinda. This research useb a quantitative approach. The subjects in the research were 84 teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda and teachers of SMP Negeri 8 Samarinda were selected using simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected by using workload scale and work stress scale. Techniques of analysis in this research using product moment correlation test and independent sample T-test. The results of this research showed that there is a relation of the work load with work load on teachers SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda and teachers of SMP Negeri 8 Samarinda with a value of R = 0.444 and P = 0.000. There is a difference of work stress on teachers SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda and teachers of SMP Negeri 8 samarinda with a value of T = 2,861 and the value of P = 0.005.<\/strong><\/li>\n
