4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the effect of parental involvement and motivation to learn on the discipline of students at SMP Negeri 11 Samarinda. This study used a quantitative approach. The subject of this research was 90 students selected using simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used was the Parent Involvement scale, Learning Motivation, and student discipline. The data analysis technique used test multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was influence positif and significant parental involvement with discipline beta coefficient (\u03b2) = 0.225, and the value of t arithmetic > t table (2,105 > 1,987) and the value of p = 0.043 (p 1,987) and p = 0.023 (p F table (3,721 > 1.62) and the value of p = 0.028 (p < 0.05). Variable contribution (R2) = 0.496 parental involvement and motivation to learn about the discipline of middle school students Negeri 11 Samarinda is 49.6%.<\/strong><\/li>\n
