Description [Abstrak] : <strong>This study aims to determine differences of academic stress based on educational background in regular schools and integrated Islamic schools in SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda and SMAIT Granada Samarinda. The research used a quantitative research method with 100 people aged 16-17 years, consists of 50 students from SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda and 50 students from SMAIT Granada Samarinda. The collection technique was used the academic stress scale and data analysis techniques used the Independent Sample t-Test method. The statistic results are the mean value of 114.92 for regular schools and 117.02 for integrated Islamic schools. Calculation of Independent Sample t-Test obtained t count &lt; t table (0.893  0.05), then H0 is accepted. This study can be summarized that there were no significant differences of academic stress levels based on educational background.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
