4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the correlation between empathy and humiliation in Al-Khairiyah junior high schooler in Samarinda. The sample of the study is 100 students consisting of 40 class IX students who became a sample tryout and 60 class VIII students who became the research sample at Al-Khairiyah Middle School Samarinda. The method in this study is quantitative. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection methods used in this study use scale. In this study it was found that aspects of body shaming were divided into two, which is physical body and behavior. The results of this research show that empathy correlates with body shaming behavior, known that value signifikan (0.000), r count > r table (-0,597 > 0.195), in the category significant correlation is negative. That means the lower the level of offender\u2019s empathy, the higher level of body shaming that they displayed.<\/strong><\/li>\n
