4. Description [Abstrak] : The aim of this study is to see how the description of Forgiveness in early adults who had domestic violence in childhood. The researcher used qualitative research method with case study approach. The researcher used purposive sampling technique and the data collection method in this research is an in-depth interview and observation that related to the four subjects who had domestic violence in childhood. On the first subject, MA, a man who had domestic violence in his childhood. MA was exposed to violence for 7 years. This makes MA feel the negative impact of domestic violence, but MA decides to forgive and no longer avoid his father. The second subject, YN, a man who had been exposed to domestic violence in his childhood for 6 years, YN felt hurt but still had the motivation to do good and wanted his family to return to harmony, which made him decides to forgive his father. The third subject, GD, a woman who has experienced domestic violence in childhood for 5 years, is still afraid and avoids her father, GD has desire to forgive but still feels unable to forgive wholeheartedly so GD still had an strange feeling with her father. The fourth subject, AZ, a woman who had also been exposed to domestic violence for 5 years felt the effects of domestic violence which made her feel unlike the other kid in his age. AZ saw her father sincerity when apologizing then she decided to forgive his father.<\/strong><\/li>\n
