Description [Abstrak] : The aim of this study was to know the relationsip between comformity and buying motives with the motive behind buying high-end branded bags on the career women in the city parliament samarinda. This independent variable is the buying motives and the dependent variables are conformity & pride. Data was gathered by using a scale of comformity, self-esteem scale and scale of the purchase motive. Sample on this research were students of career women in the city parliament Samarinda East Kalimantan as much 73 people. The data were analyzed used kendall\u2019s tau-b test. The results of this research showed there are negative relationship between comformity and buying motives with the motive behind buying high-end branded bags on the career women in the city parliament samarinda. behavior on the teen with = 0.430 and p = 0.000 0.05.<\/strong><\/li>\n
